Founded by the resilient and determined 22-year-old Akullu Joanitah, Joanita’s Hope for Disadvantaged Girls Initiative is a testament to her unwavering commitment to making a positive impact. Overcoming her own hurdles, including financial constraints that limited her educational pursuits, Joanitah’s personal experiences have fueled her drive to empower others. Hailing from Alebtong district, she brings a deep love for her community and a strong faith in Jesus to her mission. Guided by her personal journey, Joanitah is devoted to providing disadvantaged girls with the tools and support they need to overcome challenges and thrive, just as she has.

We Can Save More Girls With Your Helping Hand.
Since its establishment on February 4th, 2021, Joanita’s Hope for Disadvantaged Girls Initiative has already made a significant impact on the lives of 80 girls. Through our dedicated efforts, we have provided life skills training to equip these girls with essential tools for independent living. By fostering a nurturing environment, we’ve seen these girls blossom with newfound confidence, resilience, and a sense of purpose. Our commitment to empowering disadvantaged girls continues to drive positive change in their lives, enabling them to navigate challenges and seize opportunities with newfound strength
